Terms of Use

By accessing or using Forge, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Forge is a personal financial planning tool that helps individuals, couples, and households model accounts, cash flows, taxes, and long-term scenarios. The service is intended to support your own decision-making and is provided on an as-is basis.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep that information up to date.
• You must notify us promptly at forge@acbstudios.llc if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You agree not to:

• Use the service in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Attempt to access another user’s account or data without authorization.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service, including by introducing malware or attempting to circumvent rate limits or security controls.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of any non-open-source portion of the service.
• Use the service to provide financial, tax, legal, or investment advice to third parties.

Some features of Forge require a paid subscription. Subscription fees, billing intervals, and trial terms are presented at the point of purchase. By subscribing, you authorize us (and our payment processor) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then. Refunds are governed by Section 6.

Applicable taxes are collected at checkout in jurisdictions where we are required to do so. Tax amounts are shown separately on every invoice.

Free trial. New accounts come with a 14-day free trial. You won’t be charged during the trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, no payment is collected and there is nothing to refund.

Annual subscriptions: 14-day money-back guarantee. If you decide Forge isn’t right for you within 14 days of your first annual charge, we’ll refund the full annual fee on request (less any tax already remitted to a tax authority, which we cannot recover). After 14 days, the annual subscription is non-refundable, but you can cancel at any time and keep access until your renewal date.

Monthly subscriptions. Monthly charges are non-refundable once collected. The 14-day trial is your opportunity to evaluate Forge before any monthly charge. Cancellations stop future charges and you keep access until the end of the paid month.

How to request a refund. Email forge@acbstudios.llc with the subject line “Refund request” and the email address on your account. Eligible refunds are issued to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days of approval depending on your bank.

Statutory consumer rights. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your jurisdiction (for example, the 14-day right of withdrawal under EU consumer-rights directives for residents of the European Economic Area). Where local law grants you broader rights than the policy above, those rights apply.

Disputed charges. If you believe a charge is incorrect, please email us before initiating a chargeback with your bank — we can usually resolve billing issues directly and faster than the dispute process.

Forge and all content, features, and functionality of the service — including software, designs, text, graphics, and trademarks — are the exclusive property of ACB Studios LLC and its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service for your own personal financial planning purposes, subject to these Terms.

You retain ownership of any data you submit to the service. You grant us a limited license to host, store, and process that data solely to provide and improve the service.

Forge is not a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, tax advisor, or law firm. Information presented through the service — including projections, scenario outputs, tax estimates, and recommendations — is provided for informational and educational purposes only and does not constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You should consult a qualified professional before making decisions about your finances.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ACB Studios LLC and its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service. Our total cumulative liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars.

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the service if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your activity poses a risk to the service or to other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which ACB Studios LLC is organized, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of these Terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in that state, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, for material changes, provide additional notice through the service or by email. Your continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
